Following a very successful visit by eight of the Garden Group to this garden, Lynne and Barry Jackson of Ashfield u3a will opening their garden again on Sunday 13th September.
The address is 130 Southwell Road East, Mansfield, NG18 4HB.
The Open Day is to raise funds for Ashfield u3a's new home at the Ashwood Community Centre.
There will be plants and crafts for sale, and refreshments.
The house is a bungalow with one dormer window on the right of the road leaving Mansfield and has a very large drive.
It is on a service road which cannot be parked on. The road can be accessed from Clifton Grove at one end and just up from the Post Office at the Jenny Beckett Lane end.
There is room for 5/6 cars, so car sharing is advised.
The garden slopes at the rear and has grass paths, but is accessible for wheelchairs and other assorted walking aids.
There is an article in the June Newsletter describing the garden. I believe the cost will be £8.00
