🎸 This Month’s Speaker – Paul Lillie

We’re delighted to welcome Paul Lillie as our guest speaker this month.

Paul trained at the Wimbledon School of Art and is currently Artist in Residence at Nottingham’s QMC and City Hospitals. His distinctive blend of art and live music has been a huge success in supporting the wellbeing and mental health of patients as part of the Hospital Trust’s award-winning Arts Programme.

In his talk, “The Life and Work of Elvis Presley”, Paul will combine live guitar performances with large-scale painting, bringing to life the meteoric rise of the King of Rock and Roll.

Paul has discussed Elvis with Simon Mayo on BBC Radio 5 Live and even impersonated him on The One Show. Rock journalist David Hepworth described him as “an Elvis Educator.”
