In his wonderfully entertaining presentation, Mike Storr takes an affectionate look at some of his favourite Music Hall laughter-makers, tracing the origins of the art form back to the 19th-century public houses that discovered live entertainment could boost both audiences — and beer sales!

Through witty commentary and masterful delivery, Mike brings to life the classic monologues of beloved performers such as Robb Wilton, Stanley Holloway, Bernard Miles, and even contemporary favourite Pam Ayres. Each character is performed with warmth, accuracy, and that perfect touch of comic timing.

Mike has now delivered Masters of Mirth more than 475 times to audiences across the UK — including many u3as and Rotary Clubs — raising over £27,500 for his chosen charity, Asthma UK.
